The Second Chance Matric Programme (SCMP) is one of NAPDI’s flagship educational programmes which offers adult learners an opportunity to obtain their matric certificate. Qualified teachers offer their services on a voluntary basis to assist the adult learners with the NATED and NSC examination preparation and writing. Classes take place at Hillside High School on a Saturday from 9am – 3pm and runs from July to June the following year. The programme average about of 300 registrations per year. In 2015 a pass rate 70% were achieved in most subjects.
